So here is the deal, its called Geocaching and it is a worldwide treasure hunt. Dave put the coordinates of the hotel onto the website
and it gave us a list of caches within so many kilometers of us. Our fist cache cost us 7 euro because we got on the toll road and ended up turning back to where we got on.
But alas, we did make our first Spanish find at the Cross of Senija. It was probably the most difficult trek of them all, but very worth it once we were at the top.

We only did one each morning the first few days as not to diminish too much of
our beach time. Our second cache was the Torre Vigia Cap D'or (Castle watchtower.) Again it was definitely a search, but by
far the best stash using an old army ammo box. Andrew even got a little bloody moving the rocks back to rehide our find.

Our last day in Spain was a geocaching marathon, 3 before we headed for the airport. We started with an easy find at Cap Negre. And our
second travel bug. A travel bug is typically a dogtag with a serial number on it. This one had a wrench attached just to add to the fun. Once we found the bug
our job is then to take it to another cache an leave it there. We brought ours home to Ireland and put them into Dublin caches. Then we have to go to the website and
log our find as well as where we put it. This bug started in Germany and had worked its way down through Belgium, Luxembourg,
France, into Spain and now off to Ireland.

Geocaching on this trip put us in places we never would have discovered on our own. Our last cache was by the best of all aspects.
A great hike and a spectacular view, I almost wished we would have done this one earlier in the week so we could have taken our
siesta on the beautiful nearby beach. El Camino de los Pirates was a magnificent combination of coast and caved cliffs. We could have spent
an entire day exploring the area.

One thing is for sure, from now on we will do our geo homework before our vacations and bring our own cache stash to trade, maybe
even throw a few bugs into the mix. The kids loved it and it certainly added a little something extra special to our family holiday!
